Skiers

Group A:  Take the Mountain Road and Moose Connector to the Moose Loop. Ski the Moose Loop counter-clockwise (west) to a junction with the Mountain View West trail. Turn right (south) and follow Mountain View West and the Mountain Road, directly or via Mountain View and West Crystal trails, back to the parking lot. Distance is 14 to 16km, with considerable up and down, and the trails are rated Green and Blue.

Group B: Take the Mountain Road and Moose Connector to Moose Loop, then ski counter-clockwise (west) around the Moose Loop. At the junction with Moose Connector, reverse direction and repeat the Moose Loop clockwise, before returning to the parking lot via Moose Connector and the Mountain Road. Distance is about 14km, with many ups and downs that require some skill.

Group C:  Ski north along the Mountain Road to the Moose Connector junction, then return. After lunch, as time allows, ski Chickadee Loop, East Crystal Line or West Crystal, all with trail-heads on the south side of the parking lot. Distance will be about 5km and all these trails are rated Green.

Snowshoe

Group A and B1+ Snowshoers:  Start out along Braggin Rights, then take Merlin View (clockwise) and return to the parking lot via Reconnect, Long Distance and Braggin Rights or Whitetail. Distance is 15.0km with an elevation gain of about 520m.

Group B1:  From the parking lot, take Snowshoe Hare East and Snowshoe Hare West to the Demi-Tel junction, then return via Demi-Tel, Reconnect and Braggin Rights or Whitetail.  Distance is 10.7km, with an about 360m elevation gain.

Groups B2+ and B2:  Take Ranger Summit initially then turn right and follow Snowy Owl. At the bridge on the Mountain Road, take the Snowy Shortcut and follow West Crystal Line back to the parking lot. Distance is 6.8km with an elevation gain of about 200m.

Group C1:  Follow Snowshoe Hare in a clockwise direction and return to the parking lot. Distance is 5.2km with an elevation gain of about 170m.

Group C2:  From the parking lot, follow Snowshoe Hare West to the junction with Demi-Tel and return. Alternatively, if you want a flatter trail, follow the Mountain Road and return. In either case, distance is 3km, or AFATP, with about 50m of elevation gain.
