Description: One of Calgary’s natural environment parks with a unique mix of natural grassland and riverine poplar forest. It lies along the northern bank of the Bow River, providing safe nesting for Osprey and other birds. The name is a contraction of two nearby communities – Bowness and Montgomery.

Route/Walking Trails: Trailhead starts at the East entrance. The trail is a multi-use paved pathway covering 9.8 kms out and back. There are some hills to get your heart pumping but nothing too challenging. It offers beautiful views of the Bow River. There are many dirt and gravel side trails to explore with one main paved trail.
